Memphis Farmers Market Octoberfeast iis a celebration of the Delta's finest locally grown food, music, and art! Over a dozen incredible chefs were on hand to serve their creations, 5 local artists had their work on display, 2 live bands, farm fun for kids such as: hay rides, farm tours, cake walk, pick your own pumpkin patch, pumpkin carving contest and plenty of arts & crafts too! And this was a nationally televised event!

This season we had trick or treating, pumpkin painting for the kids. And, we hosted the Harvest of Hope Pet Rescue Rally, sponsored by Save1Pet, Good Dog Rescue and Purina Pro Plan.

It was wonderful - all the costumes on children AND adults! And, all the other wonderful offerings from: the farmers, bakers, jammers, musicians, and other vendors. It was a lovely end to a terrific season, and I look forward to Dec 5th for the Holiday Market. Thank you MFM Crew!

It's an absolute travesty that our children are taught as part of their curriculum to make healthy choices, and then when they go to the lunchroom they are forced to make poor choices, ones that they would have received a poor grade for had they made them in class. How are our kids supposed to take anything they learn in school seriously with this kind of hypocrisy.

A CSA = Community Supported Agriculture, the farmers usually being Organic Farmers.
