The Declaration of Derby is the Women's Flat Track Roller Derby Association's 2009 Championship Tournament. While the Memphis Hustlin' Rollers made it to the regional tournament in Atlanta back in September, we did not advance to the Championship tournament that will be held this weekend in Philadelphia, PA.
Join us as... we watch the final bout of the tournament that will determine the best roller derby team in the nation. These are absolutely the "best of the best" teams in the world of roller derby. Watching roller derby at this level is really something to behold.
We will be watching the live webcast on the Young Avenue Deli's Large HD projector screen.
Lots of Memphis Rollergirls will be there so this would be a great opportunity for our fans to hang out with us. If you are a women interested in joining MRD, this will be a great opportunity for you to get to know some of the skaters and learn more about the sport.
