The Exchange Club Family Center The Exchange Club Family Center recently received a $50,000 grant for its Domestic Violence Program for Children from the Walmart Foundation's State Giving Program. The Center's Angela Bledsoe, director of development, and Barbara King, executive director, accept the donation from Dennis Alpert, Walmart's senior manag...er of public affairs and government relations in Tennessee.

The Exchange Club Family Center The Exchange Club Family Center hosted more than 200 runners and walkers for the 6th annual “Race for Hopes & Dreams.” The race, held on April 25 at Audubon Park, capped off Child Abuse Prevention month and helped raise awareness and more than $10,000 for the Center and its programs.

The Exchange Club Family Center
The Exchange Club Family Center's 5K Race for Hopes & Dreams is set for Saturday, April 25 at Audubon Park. The race will kick off at 9 a.m., followed by a 9:05 a.m. start for the 1-mile Family Walk.
The 5K and 1-mile Family Walk are held in April, which is National Child Abuse Prevention month, to increase awareness... of child abuse and to showcase the services offered by the Exchange Club Family Center.
Registration for the race is available online at www.racesonline.com or Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Exchange Club Family Center located at 2180 Union Avenue. Pre-registration is $18 if received before April 22nd and $20 on the day of the race. Teams with five or more participants will receive $1 off individual fees. The team with the most participants will be honored at the event.

The Exchange Club Family Center's “Hands of Hope” Auction Party is set for Saturday, March 28 at the Memphis Botanic Garden.
The event will kick off at 6:30 p.m. and will include a silent and live auction, live music, dancing, gourmet chef stations, cash bar and a coffee-liqueur bar. The event is the organization’s l...argest fundraiser of the year.
Individual tickets have been reduced to $50 per person and are available by contacting Courtney Murrah (cmurrah@exchangeclub.net) or by calling the Center at 901-276-2200.
