Is your passport active?
If you said either 'No' or 'Woman you're crazy, I don't even have a passport', then you might want to be on campus Thursday November 20th from 10am to 2pm.
As a part of International Education Week, the International Programs Office has roped the post office into tabling outside the library to gi...ve out forms for getting new passports OR renewing old ones!
NEW PASSPORT: Come prepared with a BIRTH CERTIFICATE and your SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER along with the payment (cash or check only) of $100.
PASSPORT RENEWAL: Come prepared with your OLD PASSPORT along with the payment (cash or check only) of $75. Check rules on passport renewal at http://travel.state.gov/
Passport photos available on site for $15 for a pair, or bring them with you.
Even if you have no plans to travel right now, believe me it's a safe bet to have an active passport at all times.

Hey guys, International Education Week (IEW) at UC Merced is coming up fast!
IEW is a nation wide event where people everywhere experience cultures and traditions of all the different regions on our planet!
Come join the fun and see what events we have to offer. Different international organizations will be tabling aroun...d the library and we'll be hosting programs and events between Monday November 17th and Friday November 21st.
You'll be able to sit in on language lessons, watch a foreign film, talk to people about studying or working abroad, or even get your passport!
