Habla: The Center for Language and Culture
Join a community of international educators who are passionate about crossing cultures and finding new ways to reimagine educational settings.
In 2009 Habla launched an international institute for educators. Teachers, organizational leaders, and artists gathered from Brazil, Argentina, Italy, the United States, and Mexi...co for a week where educators learned innovative approaches for integrating the arts into classroom settings.
Registration is now open for the 2010 Habla Teacher Institute.

Habla: The Center for Language and Culture
In July 2009 Habla artists from the United States and Mexico collaboratively taught a four week course to local kids. Students created in all art forms exploring the concept of "Spaces."
The teachers were Karla Hernando Flores, Sarabeth Burk, Charly Barbera, Laura Riebock, Nayeli Jimenez, Daniela Evia Duarte, and Marimar Patron Vazquez.

Habla: The Center for Language and Culture Registration is now open for Spanish classes for Merida residents. Come by and visit, Tuesday through Thursday, 11:00am-1:30pm.
Habla: The Center for Language and Culture International visiting artist Elayna Toby Singer led a beautiful Habla visual arts workshop at Park Aak in Xcunya.
