Been listening to the New M83 record, Saturdays = Youth. Some of their best (Kim & Jessie), as well as their worst work yet (Up!). Worth the purchase. At times reminiscent of Psych Furs, New Order, and MBV.
At times, I find it necessary to take a day away from everything, stay home, and let iTunes decide what I should listen to. The app guided me to Tricky's 'Maxinquaye', an album I probably hadn't listened to in 8 years. I listened through 3 times while trying to catch up on life. Amazing.
Miami was great. Met a lot of new people, and had a retarded amount of fun. Recovery starts now.
Through the marvel that is the inter-web, Methodrone has uploaded 3 songs from their upcoming release 'Begins Now'. Listen, enjoy, spread the word. sg
Just checked out 3 new records, all of which were pretty stelar: The Kills - Midnight Boom: different than the first 2 records, but true to what they do best. raw, simple beats, and sexy vocals. Pick it up...
