Metiria Turei Have a gander at this if you are interested in Maori Justice issues and the privatisation of prisons. I support the concept of Maori habilitation centres. if we can get them established for Maori and they work, then maybe we roll it out for others too. 70% of crime is (according to the Min of Justice) neither serious or violent. We need to do something different, thats for sure.
