PIE STUDIO New chair of the week (Boing). Made with fiberboard seat (leaves, grass, husk and etc) a technology which will entirely replace the use of plywood... and rattan legs and back. I am a world traveler, but one place I haven’t been to is Paris, it’s a shame. We missed our train from Geneva to Paris, so we went to Milan for few days. Fortunately, my work beat me to it; it had travel to more places in Europe than I’ve ever had. PIE STUDIO our good friend Robin Hill, a renowned architectural photographer will be exhibiting and lecturing on his latest work “Child of the Sun”, Frank Lloyd Wright Florida Southern College. This collection of photographs was recently exhibited at the Guggenheim NYC, and came directly to Miami. Please make sure to attend the lecture or just check out the exhibition.

This year’s CA Boom show took place in the Modern style, former Robinsons Department Store in Beverly Hills. (With itslarge areas of fake gold decoration conspicuously out of keeping with the exterior, which was added when the buildingserved as a casino set.)
