Marifeli Pérez-Stable is a professor at Florida International University and a Senior Non-Resident Fellow at the Inter-American Dialogue (Washington, DC). She auth...ored The Cuban Revolution: Origins, Course, and Legacy and edited Looking Forward: Comparative Perspectives on Cuban Transition. Looking Forward was a finalist in the ForeWord Magazine Book of the Year Award (2007). She chaired the task force on Memory, Truth and Justice, which issued the report, Cuban National Reconciliation. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and an associate of COMEXI, the Mexican Council on Foreign Relations. Her Miami Herald column appears every other Thursday. And on November 24, Prima Volta, a group of Honors studen...ts who go to classical, jazz, and world music concerts, will hold its first Honors Hour.
