A message from Wasteland Ski and Snowside:
It is with deep regret that due to circumstances beyond our control we have been left with no other choice but to cancel with immediate effect Snowside Festival due to be held in Nassfeld Austria between March 23-29th 2009.
A huge effort has been maintained right throughout t...he campaign to successfully produce our first festival however certain factors including the current economic climate, pound-euro exchange rate, low ticket sales and rising costs have contributed towards us having to make this difficult decision.
We would like to acknowledge and give thanks to The Remix, The Secret Garden Party, Leyline and all our media partners and the Hermagor Tourist Authority for their 100% commitment to the cause and wish to put on record that they should not in anyway be held accountable or deemed responsible in anyway for the cancellation of this event. We will continue to pursue our ambition to hold a festival in the region next year.
