Mike Vial has reached one of his music goals: Get booked at Trinity House, a premier acoustic/folk concert room in the Metro Detroit area! (Think the Ark in A2 but smaller and more intimate.)
Coming off his first ...regional Michigan festival tour @ Noreastr Festival in June, Mike Vial will be playing at a rare Sunday event at Trinity house with fellow Noreastr performers, West Phil. Orchestra, a New Orleans style, 10 piece folky jazz band.
West Phil. Orchestra is crazy, a New Orleans jazz, funeral march with a roots feel. The crowd participates, the songs blaze in brass, and the energy is high.
MV might even jam with the 10 piece band, so this is a rare moment to hear his bluesy guitar playing in an eclectic mix.
This is MV's most important event of the year so far, and writers from the Free Press and Detroit News already writing and listing about it.
