In a raucous stand up career spanning 25 years and 7 continents, Tom Rhodes has been on HBO, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and filmed two half hour specials for Comedy Central “Comedy Central presents…Tom Rhodes”. Tom was also the host of his own late night talk show in Amsterdam for Dutch television. Tom is one of th...ose rare exotic creatures who has dedicated his life to stand-up comedy. Starting out at the tender age of 17, in Orlando, Florida he was soon touring the Southern United States and up the eastern seaboard to New York City. But it wasn’t until Tom moved to San Francisco, that he discovered his comedic “voice”. There in the city he describes as “The Jerusalem of Stand-Up Comedy” he was discovered by Comedy Central. Tom was given the channel’s first ever development deal contract which led to his critically acclaimed hour special “Viva Vietnam! : A White Trash Adventure Tour”.
The following year at the Montreal Comedy Festival he was “discovered” again, this time by NBC who gave him his own sitcom on the network called “Mr. Rhodes” where Tom played a rebel teacher in a stuffy prep school trying to inspire revolution in his students. The sitcom was short lived but Tom took his “NBC artist’s grant money” and moved to New York City to rededicate his life to the art of Stand-up comedy. As Tom’s horizons broadened he found himself regularly performing in London, which led to many other engagements in the Comedy clubs scattered across Europe. While performing in Amsterdam he was seen by the Dutch television network, Yorin , who gave him his own late night talk show entitled “The Kevin Masters Show : starring Tom Rhodes”. The much loved show ran for 2 years with Tom interviewing Holland’s biggest celebrities and experiencing every aspect of the unique Dutch culture.
At the end of the show’s run the same network gave Tom a travel show named “Yorin Travel” where he got to film highlights on Peru, Russia, France and the Dutch Caribbean. Tom’s lovable personality and warm charm have won him fans all across the globe. He continues to perform regularly in Asia, Australia, Europe, and all across the United States. Pretty much anywhere there is a comedy microphone plugged in.

2009 promises to be a breakout year for actor/comedian/musician Nick Thune. Thune can currently be seen on the web series “Nick’s Big Show,” available on Atom.com and NicksBigShow.com. This six-episode mockumentary follows Thune as his puts his comedy career on hold to do something much more important: write, direct an...d produce his dramatic one man show that will make the all-important demographic – humans – remember “what it’s like to feel again.” In coming weeks, “Nick’s Big Show” will be distributed widely to consumers across Atom’s multi-platform distribution network, including the “Atom TV” series on Comedy Central, mobile phone partners and other leading Internet destinations including iTunes, AOL, Dailymotion and xBox Live.
Thune will next be seen on the big screen in Miramax Films Extract opposite Jason Batemen, Ben Affleck and Mila Kunis. The comedy from Director/Writer Mike Judge (“King of the Hill”) is slated to hit theatres in September. He will also soon be seen in the independent film Highway 61 opposite Tobin Bell. Thune’s other film credits include Spring Breakdown, Unaccompanied Minors and Judd Apatow’s hit comedy Knocked Up.
Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, Thune moved to Los Angeles at age 24 to pursue a career in comedy. Thune was working as a stand-up comedian, when he first found internet success in 2006, when his YouTube video “Phone Tag” went viral. Directed by Ruben Fleischer of MTV’s hit reality show “Rob & Big,” the sketch about a young man struggling to accept a break-up with a romance gone sour currently tallies almost 1 million page views on YouTube. An even greater buzz was created with Nick’s production of “Masturbation.” Thune’s stage work included a masturbation joke that he thought would be even funnier as a short film. Once again with the assistance of Ruben Fleischer a film version of the joke was produced. A week later, after editing, Fleischer met with Funnyordie.com, the comedy video website from Will Ferrell and Adam McKay. In tandem with the debut launch of Funnyordie.com, “Masturbation” was posted on the front page directly below Ferrell’s infamous Landlord Video.
With all of his internet success, Thune was invited to perform on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. In August 2007, on his second appearance on The Tonight Show, Thune’s aptly named “Instant Messenger” stand up routine became an instant success. In 2008, Thune starred in his own “Comedy Central Presents” special. With the success of the special Comedy Central paid Thune to make iThunes, a series of short films for the World Wide Web. He also signed a deal to do a comedy album with Comedy Central Records. The album is due to drop this fall.
