Minot State University The Minot State University men's hockey team is now ranked 15 in the country. Their next home game is a rivalry game against Dakota College of Bottineau (Formerly MSU-B) on December 5th, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. at the MAYSA arena.

Minot State University The football team's playoff game against the University of Sioux Falls on Saturday will be broadcast on 910 KCJB AM radio. The pre-game show is at 12:45 p.m., the game follows at 1:00 p.m. Unfortunately there is no video feed from the game.

For the past seven years, the Minot State University Social Work Organization has organized Freezin' for a Reason to raise food, money and awareness of homelessness in the Minot area.
On Wednesday, November 18, the club brought in almost $1200 for Community Action. The total amount of food donated has not yet been weigh...ed.
But Louis McLeod said that they were, "ahead of last year at this time."
