Minutes Matter
I just returned from a speaking engagement for CDECA in Toronto, Canada. They hired me to speak on photography, electronic storyboards, social networking & marketing. All of which happen to be my favorite topics. My biggest challenge was time, I have so much to say and so little time. Barbara Cole and all of the CDECA ...organization were gracious hostesses. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome in Canada. I thought the South had the "Friendly" award all wrapped up, but I guess us Southerners will have to share that title with Canada.
I was under the assumption that Canada was going to have a similar climate to the North Pole. Barbara assured me the weather was like New York. The weather in Nashville, TN and Toronto were almost identical while I was there. Jerry and I will have to go back in the summer and take some time to see the beautiful sights in this wonderful country.
To my surprise, after I finished my last session, CDECA presented me with the book "Spectacular Homes in Toronto," they couldn't have given me a better thank-you gift. I have already taken several photos of pages with my iPhone and uploaded those photos to my Evernote account and filed under my Decorating folder. Have I mentioned lately I LOVE my iPhone? Wow,
finally back from High Point and we're pretty exhausted. We were
pleasantly surprised to see more people this market. We were really
busy in our booth. Jerry and I visited the IHFC building and of course, we always stop in at Paragon during lunch
time. They always have the best soups. Wednesday, they had Chicken Taco
S...oup and they always share the recipe. I added the recipe to Chef's
Little Helper. It's easy and fast, try it you'll love it. I will be sharing a few video clips from High Point this week in our ezine. Don't miss it!
