Pfeiffer University On Nov. 6, dozens of Charlotte-area and Chinese dignitaries joined Pfeiffer University to celebrate its grand opening of the Confucius Institute (CI) at Pfeiffer University, which is located on the Charlotte campus at 4701 Park Rd. This celebration was the culmination of an effort that began Sept. 22, 2008 when Presid...ent Ambrose and Xu Lin, chief director of Hanban, met in Beijing to sign an agreement to establish a Confucius Institute in the Charlotte region. Hanban is the executive body of the Chinese Language Council International, a non-governmental and non-profit organization affiliated with the Ministry of Education of China.
Pfeiffer joins three other university in the Carolinas, 55 other institutions throughout the United States and more than 327 worldwide in this effort to make Chinese language and culture more available to interested parties around the globe.

It was a good game...considering the powerhouse type team duke has this year and the significant hight advantage they enjoyed i think our guys performed well....Chris Woods showed why he is the team leader and showed he could compete against anyone in the country...Great job Falcons!!
