Inspired from music from the 70s and 80s Miss Laidlaw's sound has been described as down tempo, groovy and original for its time. Her main motivation to make music was encouraged by both her parents who saw she had an ear for music and by the eclectic array of records her mother owned.


Miss Laidlaw is also the owner of the well-known Female Beatmakers forum, which is a website aimed at motivating and inspiring other talented females in the music industry. Currently she is working on organising workshops around London, to offer cheaper alternatives for people wishing to study music. Every year she does big charity show to support causes like Women's Aid and Lupus.

She is also a radio host/dj spinning the best in Rare Groove, Funk, Broken Beat, Afro Beat, 80s and Nu -Wave. You can tune into her online show every Monday and Friday between 4-6pm GMT on Playvybz.com.
