As far as the scoring system goes people, there are no double standards. The contestants are scored over a series of events which happen before and during the grandfinals. Before the grandfinals, they are scored during the initial interview process, then they score points during the fitness round and they are scored again during the CEA programme in Langkawi where they are to write an essay at the end of which would be scored by the USM professors.
They are also scored on their overall participation, attitude towards the programmes and simple things like punctuality & etc.
During the grandfinals, they are then scored during the Heritage and Elegance rounds for poise, grace, confidence and etc. I actually thought Rashpall did quite well on the grandfinals night, but she did not even make it to the Top 5 :( probably because she did not do well in the previous assignments & programmes. So really, there's nothing to complain about, unless Woon won Miss Petite la :D

Dear Joe, as you know, we always welcome criticisms, that is why I have not removed your commentaries even though you cowardly write them under a rather uncreative pseudonym.
Anyways, I don't think I am punjabi, tamil, malay, chinese or indian, I think I am Malaysian. But it will be long time before people stop racially labelling themselves here. Maybe removing the Race checkbox from the government borangs might be a good start.
As for the SMS competitions, they are usually run by MMIG's sponsors and partners. So if the sponsors want to run one to decide their subsidiary title winners, that is their right. If you want to set your own rules, please sponsor a subsidiary title next year ;)
As for bashing Mrs Rani, I think good help is just hard to find, and when you find people to work with you, they usually don't stay very long. So I'm sure if someone wanted to help her, she would never push them away. Problem is most are more interested in criticising instead of helping out!
