MissDVS AKA Ziggy or Zaralea Grace has an infinite amount of passion for music. Her determination to succeed and commitment to electronica far surpasses the average basement DJ. This talented, sexy lady is sure to get the dance floor moving with up-beat rolling bass lines, pounding infamous grooves and her energetic presence behind the decks.

Zaralea has been passionate for music her entire life. Once influenced by the likes of Depeche Mode, Boy George and Pink Floyd her tastes developed into the dance music of the early 90’s with Daft Punk, The Prodigy, Underworld and a once favorite Chris Sheppard. With extensive music education in grade school Zaralea was able to pick-up beat matching at the early age of 16.

At age 21 Zaralea started a small business (Rise Sun City) catering to the electronic music scene as a vendor selling everything from Red Bull, glow sticks to Poi and much much more. Rise Sun City also produced numerous small successful events, hiring talent from all over the world. . Not only does Zaralea spin a tremendous set she can also dance with fire chains and give you a fire show that will blow your mind! Her passion to dance and spin poi led her to perform on numerous stages in front of thousands of fans across the nation. After business died down she completed a Diploma Program in Business Administration, Majoring in Management at Alberta’s finest Institute of Technology; S.A.I.T. winning a few scholarships and gaining a 3.87/4.0 GPA!

Today Zaralea’s focus has drifted from her poi performance to her tour de force on the turntables. Her goal is to climb the ranks of today’s competitive DJ market with her unique and eclectic musical tastes, pounding bass lines and intriguing sex appeal. Her musical tastes were influences by the likes of DJ Preach, Mauro Picotto, Chris Liberator, Dave the Drummer, Eddie Halliwell, Anx and Special Agent...

In the last two short years MissDVS is becoming a high demand DJ playing along side local & international favorites such as Michelle C, Isis Graham, Honey Mustard, DJ Murda, digaBoo, Dom G, Big Daddy, Nemesis, Mazik, Rezident Funk, Flatland Funk, Dirty Tones, Neighbour, Big League Chu, Cagedbaby & Calvertron to name a few! Her style has developed from dark hard techno and hard trance to uplifting European progressive, electro, fidget and tech house! Recently competing in a local DJ Competition out of 32 well established and basement DJs, she advanced to the top 9 and ended up in 4th place! Not to mention holding down a weekly residency at one of Calgary’s most established Electronic Dance Music dedicated clubs; Sals on 17th Ave

MissDVS is keeping her finger on the EDM pulse with her monthly scenesters blog! Check it out! There is also a worthy side note that during her tenure with Rise Sun City, she and business partner also produced nearly a dozen small successfull rave events. Hosting talent such as Lady Bass, Patrick DSP, Chris Organix, Sturdy, Rich E Rich, Hula Hoop, Andy Clockwork, Big League Chu, Brother, J-Byrd, Mark Grimace, Rodi Style, Miss Innocent and many fine locals!
