I was arrested in an act of nonviolent civil disobedience in NYC with 16 others--now over 100 in the country who have risked arrest--calling for universal health care and an end to health insurance denials. My girlfriend, through her union, has some of the best health insurance coverage and job security in the country..., and even so, she is constantly in collections in 2 countries, paying the bills for her cancer treatments. If she was unable to work anymore, she and I would be without health insurance. It is time that healthcare be considered a human right in this country; we all need it. I hear a lot of people here calling for universal health care--I hope to see an action in MT! -Julia, former Montanan

I had insurance with New West but they wore me out. There were bills they were supposed to pay but there's no way to make them do what they are supposed to. They've already got the money paid to them in premiums. I'm sick and don't have the energy to fight them about it. They basically stole that money, what a rip-off....
