James Coniconde

James Coniconde I have a question!

There will be some kind of small upgrade fee, but it hasn't been set yet. For example, in the case of Mixcraft 3, it cost $14.95 to upgrade to Mixcraft 4.

No, you have to mix down to MP3 or WMA or whatever. Load up a project, then click on the File menu and select "Mix Down to..," then choose MP3. Make a mental note of where you're saving the file so you can find it in media player.

In Mixcraft, click on the File menu and select Preferences. Are you using the Fast Track in ASIO mode? Do you have it set as your playback device? Check with M-Audio to make sure you've got their latest audio drivers, and also make sure you're using Mixraft 4.5 build 118.

Look at the Sound Device preferences. You should have a choice of at least Wave or ASIO. Make sure you've got it set to ASIO and that you've got the latest audio drivers from M-Audio.

Do you have an Instrument track displayed in Mixcraft? Is the keyboard working with Cubase right now? Are you using Mixcraft 4.5 build 118?

Joseph Becerril big fan of yours, thank you for making this excellent product available to the common folk ;)

John

John Why does the vocal only record in the left ear channel? I know it can be panned to center, but why not just allow it to be recorded center?

If you're hearing the audio on one side, that means you are recording a mono source. This is normal for things like microphones and guitars. In order to get a centered recording, arm the track for the side on which you're hearing the audio. In most cases, as in yours, you'd arm the track for the left. Click on the small arrow next to an Arm button and select Left.

Did you download and install the latest Line 6 drivers from their web page? If not, give that a try and see if you have ASIO.

I have the latest drivers. I changed the Sound Device Preferences from Wave RT to ASIO and this seems to have corrected all the problems. Please advise additional configuration procedures to optimize my setup. I appreciate the quick help and resolution. Thank you very much.

Hi Gordon, I apologize for the late reply I've been away from Facebook a few days, I think it's funny that the same loop gives such different songs, both songs have succeeded quite well I think, I really like she is crazy! Angels were my first song, and my first production too, I do not use loops anymore, now it is instruments all the way!

Go to M-Audio's web page and get the latest audio drivers for your Fast Track Pro. Also make sure you're using the latest version of Mixcraft. In Mixcraft, click on the File menu, select Preferences and in the Sound Device preferences, try the Fast Track Pro's ASIO driver. If that doesn't work, please submit a support ticket and give us some more details about the problem: http://demon.acoustica.com/supportsuite/index.php?_m=tickets&_a=submit

I had same issue. You must use ASIO and have the newest drivers from m-audio. Not sure why m-audio does not automatically check for new drivers on install..
