The holidays are upon us and we decided it was worthy of our first joint posts, the MD  holiday gift guide 2009 parts I & II.  A selection of what we think would make fantastic gifts for that special guy in your life (or you know, us!). First up, Drew’s list:

I admit it: I’m a bit of an America’s Next Top Model junkie (to Drew’s endless annoyance).  But it’s getting a bit old and tired this season.  No worries, though: rumor is Tyra is about to shake it up big time.

Tomorrow’s Monday, and that means Gossip Girl. Judging by our traffic stats, everyone is as crazy about Check Bass as is Drew.  Well, here’s some more Chuck Bass. That is, Ed Westwick, who graced the cover of Arena Homme+, shot by Alasdair McLellan. ...

NYMag.com notes that there’s lots of discussion about female models weight these days.  How skinny is too skinny; what body type best captures real women; etc. So what about male models? Is skinny hot? Do other guys want to mimic the look? Glamour’s editor’s take:

We love Tom Ford. And it looks like he’s big in Japan, too.  Japanese fashion magazine SENSE has run a nice editorial spread featuring Tom Ford’s fall/winter men’s line.

It’s a Mad Men day around here. And to finish it off, here’s John Hamm’s photo spread in October’s Italian Vanity Fair.

Brooks Brothers is bringing back classic ’60s men’s style with their Mad Men suit.  It may not make you Don Draper (or John Hamm), but you’ll look dapper trying.
