On August 10th, 1950, the Beaver County Humane Society received its corporate charter as a non-profit, tax exempt, charitable organization. This authorized the structuring of an animal shelter conducting all such business and activities with regards.

LOVELY BLACK KITTY LOOKING FOR A HOMEI am a nice girl-kitty who was abandoned in Darlington. It is very sad and scary to be homeless. It is hard to believe that my special person could just toss me out and forget about me but I am hearing that sometimes that does happen. The shelter workers are very nice. They told me ...that they would do their best to help me find a home; one where I will be loved and cared for as all pets deserve. Maybe someone special who is looking for a kitty to pet and talk to will come to the shelter. I would be a nice kitty for someone like that because I like to be petted and talked to.
