I've lived there my whole life, and it is just wonderful.

Our family lives in Coronado, CA and are considering moving to Mukilteo. Can anyone tell me anything about the public and private school system there for a 7th and 8th grade girls? Thanks!

I love the my kids go to a public school and there are almost as many volunteers as their are students. I love the sound of the ferry horn on foggy days and I love hearing the trains running along the coast and the airplanes flying overhead. I love the smell of the Sound and seeing seals when you take a walk down Mukilteo beach past our charming... See More little lighthouse. I love watching the ships going out to sea or the small boats out enjoying the beautiful sunny days. I love the blue sky where it meets the sound. I love that you can look in any direction and see mountains. I love that I can drive 20 minutes to see a broadway play or hear live music just about any night of the week and eat at restaurants with world class chefs. I love the diversity of the people and the celebration of our differences. I love Mukilteo!!!!!

Julie and I went there in 2006. It was right on the Puget Sound. Beautiful port town near Seattle. We really enjoyed the beautiful scenery.

Lived here for a few years. Beautiful town, close to the water and great for famililies and kids. Far drive to downtown Seattle (average 45 minutes) but there are a lot of buses to take. Traffic is getting bad to the area, esp around rush-hour b/c there is only one or two lanes that will take you to Mukilteo.

Can't wait to come home and visit later this month! Atta boy, Muktown!
