Montemaggiore Interested in helping harvest grapes? We haven't started yet, but we will start picking in the next couple weeks! If you are interested in helping out, just send me an email (lise@montemaggiore.com). We'll probably harvest on five or six days over the next month or so--at least one of which will be on a weekend.

Montemaggiore Robert Parker finally noticed Montemaggiore, awarding 90 points to our 2006 Paolo's Vineyard Syrah, and describing it as "a very serious wine...full but at the same time charming and decidedly elegant."

Montemaggiore See what's happening at Montemaggiore--LIVE! Vincent just installed a webcam at the top of the vinyards, along with a weather station. Now you can see what gorgeous weather we have in northern California.

Montemaggiore Well, it's official--we're now certified Biodynamic by Demeter! Both our winegrapes and Olive Oil were certified, and in fact, we're the first Biodynamic Olive Oil in Sonoma County. Most people may not care, after all its the taste of the wine that matters most, but for us it's a great milestone. What do you think?

Montemaggiore Just in time for summer sipping, we're excited to present our 2008 Syrah Rosé! Since we only made 20 cases of this wine, we unfortunately must restrict it to Wine Club members. But if you enjoy a dry Rosé made in the classic Provençal style, this is the wine for you!

For those thirsty Healdsburgers (or are we Healdsburg-ites?), Ravenous on Center Street is pouring Montemaggiore Syrah by the glass! Goes great with their lamb osso buco. Is your mouth watering yet?

Montemaggiore Anyone tasting wine in LA recently? I recently found some great little places! Old Vine Cafe (http://www.oldvinecafe.com) in Costa Mesa--wonderful little restaurant run by two brothers with a dedication to detail, peaceful indoor/outdoor green space, fabulous foods and wines! Fatty's & Co (http://www.fattyscafe.com") ...in on the edge of LA: food you wouldn't think was vegetarian, wines you will never see anywhere else by the glass, and hospitality to the max.

Montemaggiore Ryan: We'd love to see you! I'm sure you have some crazy stories...
