Monterey Public Library Curious librarians want to know . . . Where is your favorite place in the Library? Relaxing on the patio? Browsing through the cavernous non-fiction area? Hanging out on bright orange couches? Curled up reading picture books? Or maybe attending an event in the community room? Which part of the Library do you like best?

Different places at different times! On the couches when I want to see who's in town. In the study room when I have a lot of writing to do. Browsing the children's section and the stacks...Love the old photography of Old Monterey. The California History room is great to visit, and also like to check out the book displays in front. It's a great place. A friend of mine and I call it "our office".

2) More Guns, Less Crime by John Lott
3) The Bias Against Guns by John Lott
4) The Global War on your Guns by Wayne LaPierre
5) Guns, Crime and Freedom by Wayne LaPierre ... Read More

These books would make a good start. I mean sure, your reference desk is really easily to use, but a Second Amendment section...isn't that the true measure of a good library?
