Now that December is upon us and our thoughts are turning toward the holidays the library is gearing up with some great programs for kids. On Tuesday, December 8th from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. we’ll be offering an Afterschool Christmas Craft program at the library. ...
Highland County Public Library Christmas is coming and our gift to the children of Highland County is new toys for the children's section in the library. We have a new train table and a new play cube (hexagon, actually). We can't wait for the kids to see the new toys!

Highland County Public Library The book sale is held the second weekend of October every year. You can find thousands and thousands of books to choose from at $1.00 for hardcovers and 50 cents for paperbacks. We also have DVD's, videos, audiobooks, CD's and more!

Highland County Public Library Two steps forward, one step back! One of the tents blew away this morning. It was the only tent that was already full of books. Thankfully the rains were over and the books didn't get wet.

Highland County Public Library A lot has been accomplished in two days. The storage building is almost emptied out and the tents are up. The meeting room is overflowing with books. The volunteers have been working hard so far and having fun while doing it. I like that.
