All land in Alabama is posted by law, you cannot just drive down the road and stop & hunt wherever there is no sign.
You have to have written permission from the land owner to hunt, when you buy your hunting license, ask for a copy of
Alabama Hunting & Fishing guide and read the rules. Hunting permission requirement is on page 18. You are most likely young enough to have to take a hunter ed course to get a license & that should be covered there also. Have fun & GOOD HUNTING!!!

Is it illegal to use electronic deer calls during the hunting season? I have read the state laws and hunting regulations and cannot find this answer. I would really like a link to where the regulations state this if possible.. I am more interested in say, could you have a sound on your phone that produced the sound rat...her than an actual "device" solely for the purpose of producing such sounds. Thank for any help with this :)Read More

Electronic deer calls are legal in Alabama.

The only electronic calls that are illegal in Alabama are bird calls.

It is legal to carry a concealed gun/pistol on a boat in Alabama as long as you posses the proper permit. However, concealed weapons are not allowed on a boat while in a state wildlife management area (WMA) or wildlife refuge. If you are carrying a concealed weapon and are stopped by a marine police officer please tell them about the weapon as a courtesy.
