Sylvain Roy Agree. Jarry park was by far the best. The next best thing would have been an open air stadium downtown. I worked at the Olympic stadium with the peanut guy. His name was Jean-Guy Black, a great guy who died at 48 years old in 1982

Jack Pearson Yeah, the dancer...thanks Sylvain, I think I mixed him up with the peanut guy! We were lucky enough to be on the 1st base side. It was a treat to see the HOF'ers of the day come to town. They should have built an open air stadium downtown. I think the fans would have returned if it were owned by Molson or Bronfman again. The Big Owe heped to kill them (that and Rick Monday).

Sylvain Roy Gosh Jack what great memories!!!! Jarry Park was the best time of my youth. I was attending almost every game in the bleachers. What an atmosphere in that Jarry park no matter if they were losing or winning. Don't forget the dancer, Claude Desjardins and the organist Fernand Lapierre!!!!!

Jarry Park! Jonesville, Bailey's June Swoon, Cocoa Laboy, Fairley & Fairy, Le Grand Orange, Russ Taylor, the peanut guy, pedestrian overpass (over the tracks), Ron Hunt leaning in, Adolpho Phillips, Marv Staley, Pepe squared (Manguel and Frias), Bobby Wine not hitting his weight, Bateman on the bases, Stoneman's no hi...tters, Stargell putting one in the pool, Hank, Willie, and Clemente coming to town, John BoCaBelllla...and the list goes on. Oh and the visitors dugout on first base side...so miss the good old days!Read More

Ross Hartinger I love the Expos..but when they went to Washington I couldn't follow the team..I am a Canadian boy and The Expos were as much of Canada as the Earth that we all share within this border. From Rusty Staub to Vlad G..all the greats. How could you let them go Montreal....

I miss the Expos very much. It was tough to grow up as an Expos fan in Jays country, especially around '92 & '93. I got a lot of heck for it, but the Expos were totally worth it, even when they stunk. I've moved on to the Padres and White Sox (coz of Jake Peavy & Jermaine Dye) but my heart will always be with the Expos.... Larry Walker still is my fave player of all time. Tim Wallach is a close second.Read More

Stephen Ryan Going to Expos games was one of my favorite weekend getaways when growing up in Plattsburgh. Steve Rogers was a great pitcher.

One of my favorite memories is when the All-Star game was in Montreal in July 1982 (the first time it was ever played out of the US). My dad got us invited to a VIP breakfast with the players and I got to meet (and take pics with) Tim Raines, Andre Dawson, and Gary Carter (my boyz!!!). I also met and rec'd autographs... from Mike Schmidt, Reggie Jackson, Steve Howe, Manny Trillo and a slew of others. I still have the autographed baseball and tons of photos from that day. I'll remember it always!Read More
