Liz Wright I'm really keen on this but I have NO sewing skills so any help appreciated. I do buy a lot of charity clothes and try to team them in imaginative ways (the grunge fashion here was my high point and I hear its coming back) I have vintage clothes too inc my mothers 1947 wedding outfit (not white) but I'm a bit too fat for it.

I 40 years old and have been sewing since i was 14 and love it.I started by turning my dads shirts into fashion items in the 80,s, my brothes PJ,s got the same treatment as well. LOL. I live in the Algarve, Portugal where thrift stores are unheard of and fabric stores are very few and far between so I could not keep up with the rules of the blog so i wont join.
