Rebekah G Treece

Rebekah G Treece please fix that ad , it is super annoying.

Georgia

Georgia Hey, I've been a longtime lurker, but there's a new ad that plays a ten second video clip with sound whenever the blog loads. It's a little obtrusive. Just to let you know.. :)

Also, I wish I could sign up but I don't have the supplies or time here at school. Maybe for the summer... :)

I've figured out what it is that is popping up, it's the ThreadBanger videos in the sidebar. This shouldn't play unless you click on it but it seems it is playing for some of you when you log onto the site so i will remove it.
Thanks for letting me know about it. :)

Liz Wright

Liz Wright I'm really keen on this but I have NO sewing skills so any help appreciated. I do buy a lot of charity clothes and try to team them in imaginative ways (the grunge fashion here was my high point and I hear its coming back) I have vintage clothes too inc my mothers 1947 wedding outfit (not white) but I'm a bit too fat for it.

I'm not much of a hand at sewing either, Liz, although my mum is fab with a needle but she didn't pass on that skill to me unfortunately! However I still think there's plenty of ways to have a go at refashioning even with limited sewing skills. On the subject of charity shops, have you been to the Sue Ryder Superstore at Eye?

Stacy Atkinson Harris

Stacy Atkinson Harris Hi. I love seeing the creativity on the site but am not sure I can sign a pledge. I just finished the easiest up-cycle. A pair of threadbare flannel pants turned into two draft dogers after they were stuffed with a bunch of well used undershirts. Yay! Saving energy and up cycling.

Hannah Olley

Hannah Olley Hi Nic. I have a problem I signed up and got the invite email but I can't figure out how to post? Am I being totally blone or is there some trick I don't know yet? I have lost the invite email. Please help. I love your site,

I love wardrobe refashion and have been following for ages. I 40 years old and have been sewing since i was 14 and love it.I started by turning my dads shirts into fashion items in the 80,s, my brothes PJ,s got the same treatment as well. LOL. Now I continue dueing refashions and by folling wardrobe refashion I have b...ecome even more adventurous. I live in the Algarve, Portugal where thrift stores are unheard of and fabric stores are very few and far between so I could not keep up with the rules of the blog so i wont join. I will continue to visit this site all the time and I wish to congatulate everyone who is a part of this marvelous comunity!Read More
