After a short break editing as resumed on Mortalis, and it's a big edit (i.e. rewrite). Last time it was races, economy, and skills. This time it's the magic system. Reworking this system will finally finish the system clean up and then ... playtest...
Alpha version 2.0 will be out very soon. Currently work is underway to make the vast amount of edits that were made to version 1.5 and I can say without a doubt that the edits have much improved the game and will make for much more fun play...

Mortalis Games and Mortalis LARP Alpha version 1.5 has been released and is in the hands of various editors who are busy making it bleed red ink. I can't wait to see what survives their editorial maiming.

We're nearing the completion of some system rework, once that's completed alpha 1.5 will be released. Like the prior alpha version, it will be a closed release while the rules are still in review. What does this mean for you...
Mortalis Games is slowly starting to move the site from a project site to more of an organizational site as beta testing of the system nears. Part of this is the release of a new part of the site, a new link in the site navigation: Playing. Keep a look out for more updates in the future.
