Wine tasting was brilliant! Apparently, the private, guided tour of the domaine followed by a tasting of wines different to those tasted here was a 'must-do'!

Hi guys! This is a shout out for a bit of help! I'm looking for your pictures of holidays spent here at Le Chant d'Oiseau. I'm putting together the 'Guest's Gallery' at last, via. a Flickr slideshow. So, if you have some that you'd like to see on the website, please forward them to me (not huge files, please) or give me a link to where I may find them on the Internet? They don't have to be taken here, but possibly in the area, or on days out etc. If anyone has any good ones of our meal evenings, then I'd love those too. Syb & I are usually too busy to take any!

Le Chant d'Oiseau
Just to let you all know that we've been busy taking some new pictures of Hibou this morning, and they can be seen on the website now that I've finished messing about with them. Syb & I are always stunned by how spacious it is up there and today was no different! The sunshine was streaming in through the doors and windows and it all just looked really, really sweet! It's looking more 'homely' now, with the addition of a few knick-knacks and some pictures on the walls!

Hi, and a big Happy New Year to you all. It's a tad cold here at the 'mo! Minus 16 has been the lowest so far, so we're all just binkering down in the house and waiting for the big thaw and then all the bursting water pipes! We've had no hot water since Saturday here in the house, but luckily the gite survives the cold well! Great news for the guests we have in there at the 'mo!
Anyway, I'll be 'blogging about it soon! Keep an eye out for an update!
