Ziibiwing Center of Anishinabe Culture & Lifeways wants you to tune in and show your support for our Tribe and the OCC (Orange County Choppers). The episode will air tomorrow, Thursday, Oct. 22 on TLC at 9/8c. and will feature the making and unveiling of the bike designed for the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan in collaboration with the Saginaw Chippewa Trib...al Council, the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort, and the Ziibiwing Center.

Dr. Suzanne L. Cross is an associate professor at Michigan State University and a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian tribe of Michigan. She Became a traditional dancer and beadwork artisan when she was eight years old. Since then she has continued to create traditional dresses, medallions, earrings, beaded shawls, a...nd dolls.

Eagle Feather Cleansing 1-6pm
Free and open to the public. Participate with member from the Anishinabe Ogitchedaw Veteran & Warrior Society, Eagle Clan, and Ziibiwing staff in cleaning and honoring the eagle feathers in the Ziibiwing Collection. You may also bring your own personal eagle feathers (or bird feat...hers) to clean and honor. Some restrictions may apply.

Eagle Feather Honoring 1-6pm
Free and open to the public. Honor and visit the eagle feathers in the Ziibiwing Collections. A bowl will be available to leave your semaa (tobacco) offering which will be placed in a sacred fire.
