I loved the authenticity of the background "b roll" of the Fighter Training, it was like a "live newscast" on ABC 5:00 news! You seriously could not have staged it any better!

Functional Core Fitness Fitness Myth: Running on a treadmill puts less stress on your knees than running on asphalt or pavement.

Functional Core Fitness
Functional Core Fitness
It's worse in my opinion due to the the foot placement when running. Landing on the heel places a lot of stress in the ankle and shins, the body wasn't designed to land on the heel it was designed to land in the middle on the foot. Treadmill also forces some to take a longer stride than necessary .
Try this sometime.... Run full stride on pavement... See More (or grass) then run on a treadmill with shoes on, after you have observed your running take your shoes off and observe yourself running on pavement and the treadmill. You will notice a huge difference in your stride. Running barefoot is the stride you should be looking for.
Try this and let me know how it goes.
