This is one of my favorite ways to make basic french toast more interesting. You can use any French Toast batter you like. The trick is dragging the bread through crumbled cereal before you fry it. It doesn't have to be simple corn flakes. I made a great batch with Honey Bunches Of Oats once...

Short Facebook review: Great vanilla flavor. Pieces don't break down into mush as some shredded wheat cereals do. Very good cereal... but where's the almonds? I know they're there... I don't taste them...
