John Shaw

John Shaw Hello,
I was hoping for some help. I am trying to produce a yearly delivery performance for my company. Basically I have a column of delivery dates and a column of whether they were delivered early of late. Current I have an overall delvery performance using =COUNTIF(Repairs!Y$476:Y$563,"Early") to calculate early and s...imilar for late then I just total it. But i need to change it to year and I am having trouble inserting a IF statement in front with a date range. So i need it to say if column x is in 2008 then countif early.
Any help please.
Thanks

Try something like:
=SUMPRODUCT(--(YEAR(Repairs!x$476:x$563)=2008),--(Y$476:Y$563="Early"))

adjust x to suit your sheet. Also, keep in mind that the range references have to be the same number of rows our the formula will return an error.
