This June Bank Holiday weekend, May 29th to June 1st, come to Mullingar, County Westmeath and visit the Mullingar International Horse Show in Ireland’s Lakelands. Just two miles outside the town of Mullingar, with its great shops and restaurants, clubs and buzzing pubs, it will be a long weekend of fun and entertainmen...t.
The stars of the show are of course the horses and ponies, who clearly enjoy their chance to shine in show jumping, high jumps, lead rein classes and of course the grand finale of the weekend, the Grand Prix on Monday June 1st.
With prize funds of over €65,000, 6 international and 42 national show jumping classes, there’s always something going on. On Monday there’s a dog show and there’s a funfair, arts & crafts and face painting to keep the kids amused. A family restaurant and bar complete the package. Read More
