A study on a movie about…vampires?
That’s right. As Christians we are called to be in a world filled to the brim with cultural phenomena, and if Twilight does not count as phenomena, nothing does. According to the movie’s Web site, “Twilight is an action-packed, modern-day love story between teenage girls and a vampir...e.”

Based on the first book in a four-book series by Stephenie Meyer, Twilight delves into the forbidden love of two teenagers facing the threat of death and the possibility of eternal life, choosing the “right” way to live, all while listening to a myriad of warnings from others. (Thoughtful Christian materials)
Anyone who is interested (high school through adult) is welcome to attend the spring study that will meet during three sessions. Focusing around the movie version, Cassie will facilitate this study. She would welcome input in facilitating from any participant.

St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church We are currently registering for the 2009-2010 school year. The Monday-Wednesday-Friday class meets from 9:00-12:00 noon with a monthly charge of $90. The Tuesday-Thursday class meets from 9:00-11:15 a.m. and the cost is $60.00/month. Questions regarding the preschool can be directed to me (Sue) (282-3236) or the Church Office (282-6466)

On Sunday, May 3, during the Sunday Worship Service, the children in our congregation and the Andrew’s Angels Preschool will present some integral portions of the Sunday morning worship service. The older children will present “The Creation Song,” written by Anna Scott-Brown and illustrated by Elena Gomez. We are ver...y excited that the Andrew’s Angels will also be with us this Sunday to share finger plays.
