Eric Henderson Calling all Nikon shooters....I have a very nice 70-200mm f2.8 VR lens I need to sell quickly! These lenses are highly sought after for there tack-sharp images they produce and work well in all lighting conditions. $1400 takes it home! Please tell everyone you know. I need to sell it ASAP!

Our next meeting is August 2nd at 6:00pm at the Patterson Park Community Center. Jim Bruner is going to speak to the group about color correction using the X-Rite Color Checker Passport in both Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom 3 (this also works in earlier versions). He will also talk to us about creating and using lens cor...recting profiles in Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom 3.
Please bring in a picture to share with the group. We hope to see you there!

The Murfreesboro Photo Club's next meeting is on July 5, 2010 at the Patterson Park Community Center. We are happy to announce that Christian Sperka, wildlife photographer, will talk our group about animal photography in zoos and in the wild.

Our theme for July is the USA. Bring in some pictures (prints or digital format) that best represents the USA from your perspective.

Reminder: We are meeting tonight in downtown Nashville for dinner and shooting. If people want to carpool, they can meet in front of Made in Murfreesboro's studio at 4:15 pm and catch rides from there. We are meeting at Joe's Crab Shack on 2nd Ave. at 5:00 pm and will eat a bite there before heading out on our photowal...k. Titus will meet everyone there as he will already be in Nashville.

Let's meet at the pedestrian bridge near Joe's Crab Shack on 2nd Ave. @5 pm on Sat. June 26th. We're still trying to finalize dinner plans, but this will be an easy place to meet & there's parking close by. If you need to carpool, please post a message here to make arrangements. After dinner we'll... head downtown to shoot & maybe even capture Nashville's skyline from Shelby St. bridge.
