- MusiXine is a contest for films on music, making music and music related phenomena. The best film in tune will receive the MusiXine Main Award of 5,000 euros, which is donated by the organizer, Oulu Music Video Festival (OMVF).

- MusiXine is based on the concern of maintaining artistic value in rapidly grown music film scene. The contest encourages filmmakers to treat the world of music with intuitive view.
