Even though he has played all over the world, pianist Clipper Erickson has a special interest in the music from back home: specifically how American composers reflected American history and how America views itself in its music. At this concert, he will premiere a short piano sonata written for him by Philadelphia comp...oser David Finko. Mr. Erickson has won prizes at the Busoni Competition, the William Kapell Competition, and the American Pianists Association Auditions.
