Typical example of how it all works - balance that against the number of people that go to see an orhestra as compared to a local singer-songwriter theatre groups, dance schools, local galleries, art groups etc. The people that really need to be involved and encouraged in our communities are at the bottom of the scale when it comes to funding.

Thanks for the posting I think I will. Music and artistic endevour needs to be part of our everyday world, our environment and our communities. People need to have outlets, need to be encouraged to be creative more than providing spectator activities that are beyond the reach of the masses - I'll try and do my bit over the weekend :>)
