Musical Theatre West just found out that Academy Award winner Margaret O'Brien, the original Tootie Smith in the film version of "Meet Me in St. Louis", is coming to this weekend's matinees both Saturday and Sunday. She'll be signing autographs in the lobby to raise money for charity. How cool is that?

Musical Theatre West More trivia about the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. The Palace of Electricity had 7 acres of lighting and exhibits about electricity. No one had seen that much of the "new" source of power before. In today's dollars that one exhibit would have cost more than $10 million dollars.
