Any man who rapes a 5 year old should have his manhood cut off and left to die. I agree, the mother should be charged too, and the father isn't really innocent in all this, he sent her to stay with her mother. How sad that a child is abused. They aren't asked to be born. There is so much birth control around. If people don't want to use it, then they shouldn't have sex. The father has 6 children with 3 different mothers.

It's sad but inevitable. There are only so many programs that can be facilitated with tax payer dollars.

How do you define a priority when you've got such things as - police, fire, ambulatory services, children, elderly, education, parks & rec, etc.? It's tough enough as it is to try and balance the budget when the federal government is also ... The government is a big old hairy mess. So, where can the line be drawn? Tough call...and this is coming from a former educator too!

I understand why they are doing it and I think it is necessary. We've always had sick people out there doing the exact things they are doing now, its just that we live in a time where information is more public...so there is really not an increase in these situations, it is just that we are informed of them now.

I don't particularly like it, but somewhat understand it. What really bugs me is how Christ is being taken out of Christmas everywhere. It is always Happy Holidays now. Our forefathers fought for Freedom of Speach and Religion. I am not offended at the Holidays other religions celebrate, so why must we do away with Merry Christmas. And all the commercialism of Christmas. Christ was the BEST CHRISTMAS GIFT EVER.
