I don't think so. Ocean temperatures in MB around this time average between 50F and 58F. If a nice day you can definatly spend it on the beach, let the kids okay in the sand, I would take them to a heated pool for now.

Courtney, A lady I work with wanted to send her 19 year old daughter and a friend (also female) to MB for a weekend as a birthday gift. They had the same problem. The mom called the hotel and spoke to the manager, explained the situation and that the girls were "well behaved". She booked the room and paid for it...and she had to agree that any ... See Moredamages possibly incurred would be charged to her credit card. The girls went and had a great time. I believe it was one of the "lower budget" hotels, though. So maybe you can go that route?

It isn't a bit different, when they destroy a multi million dollar hotel. And, 95% of them are. I watched all the Mom & Pop hotel & motels sell out over the years & replaced with the big ones. And, they will trash them. It's like they are on a quest, to see how much they can do. It's just like black bike week, down there. Alot of damage done.

yeah i remember the log flume my whole family would ride it and we would always say on the last drop hold on to your pants i loved the pavilion it was a tradition that we went every year from the time we were 2 or 3 years old and i am 39 now rip pavilion forever in our memories

No one likes the new helmet law in the city. When I moved there in 89, we went to the old Filling Station resturant at 17th North. They had just had a bad bike wreck in front. A girls head got crushed & she died. But the most speeding was always South, so I don't understand the law in town.

And there was a bike week last year...just wasn't in the City of Myrtle Beach. North Myrtle Beach and those cities that are south like Garden City and Murrels Inlet do have bike weeks and welcome the bikers with open arms
