‘s Seal Rescue Clinic staff is today releasing what is most likely
its last harbor seal of the season back into the waters of Maine. This season was a busy one for the
team, which responded to numerous calls and treated 43 seals, releasing 20 back
into the wild.

Ever wonder what Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration’s animals do at night? Find out on November 13, during the aquarium’s Family Overnight – now featuring an aquarium mystery to solve.
A bucket of fish is missing, with only a puddle of water, footprints, fingerprints and some feathers left behind as evidence. ...Using water sampling, fingerprint and footprint identification methods and feather samples, kids will determine who is responsible for the disappearance of the fish.
Guests will also play games and tour the exhibits. Afterward, pick a place to sleep next to the circling sharks, colorful clownfish or even the elusive octopus. Continental breakfast is provided the next morning.
Crafts and activities are geared toward children ages 5 to 12. Children must be at least 5 years old and accompanied by a paid adult. Guests should bring a sleeping bag, pillow and flashlight. Preregistration is required. Please visit mysticaquarium.org to register.

Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration welcomes the Destiny Africa Children's Choir, who are taking a break from their first U.S. tour to visit the aquarium. The choir, which is comprised of rescued orphaned Ugandan children, is fantastic. In June, they performed at the Queen of England's birthday celebration!
