I also have a class that is about establishing power singing sounds that is open to both students and teachers. The focus of this workshop is more experiential in nature and I'm co-teaching it with Mary MacDonald Klimek. Once again, if you can do me t...he favor of passing it on to anyone who might be interested, that would be great!

I want to let my fellow Boston Area members know about a workshop I've put together just for other teachers that covers all aspects of teaching pop and rock, including repertoire, distinguishing the various types of sounds, establishing the sounds in yourselves and in students and the effects of electronic gear. You can learn to navigate the teaching challenges posed by teaching pop and rock music styles. Even if pop/rock genres are not your preferred musical style, you can teach your students with authenticity and enthusiasm.
