NBC Bay Area Morning News Early morning fog and clouds will give way to afternoon sunshine Thursday. The heat is gone and the warmest spots are back to near averages... mid to upper 80s. Bayside expect more 70s & a few low 80s & lots of upper 60s at the beaches. With the fog in place overnight, we'll get more humidity as well so it will not be as cool at night into the morning hours. Expect more of the same through the Fourth Of July!

NBC Bay Area Morning News Welcome to July, already, and the afternoon highs are closer to average for this of year with the fog and sea breeze back. We'll manage upper 60s at the beaches with clouds sitting off the coast, mid to upper 70s Bayside and Upper 80s with a few low 90s Inland. This is the weather story through Friday and the sea breeze and cooler air will move in late on the Fourth Of July. Have a great day!

NBC Bay Area Morning News Let the cooling continue, BUT it will still be very warm in the hot pockets like Concord, Livermore, Almaden, Los Gatos, Santa Teresa and Saratoga. The fog is thicker & the sea breeze is getting stronger to push that heat back to the Central Valley. Expect more mid 60s at the coast with clouds, 70s & low 80s Bayside & low to mid 90s in the hot spots. We'll cool another 5 to 10 degrees Inland Wednesday.

NBC Bay Area Morning News What a weekend! The heat is still on for inland Valleys! Highs for Inland communities will be in the upper 90s. At the coast a good breeze will blow through the Golden Gate, but we don't have a thick fog bank to help cool. The breeze will increase and the fog will thicken as we go through the week. Keep hydrated, check on the elderly, pets and children!

NBC Bay Area Morning News One more pleasant day with highs in the 60s-80s. We'll be soaring well into the 90s this weekend around San Jose and our inland valleys. Some cooling should kick in late Sunday evening and into Monday.

NBC Bay Area Morning News Ocean A/C is about to fade. HOT weather this weekend. Lots of 90s and maybe 100+ in some inland valley spots.
HOT weekend ahead. Enjoy the more mild weather today. Spare the Air alerts likely this weekend as well. Heat Advisory up in parts of the Bay Area, and excessive heat warning for the Santa Clara Valley this weekend. Bottom line: expect many 90s and hottest spots into the 100 range. Some cooling to begin on Monday

NBC Bay Area Morning News Ahh... the ocean a/c is back. Enjoy it while it lasts - Summer sizzle will be back in full force this weekend! Some of today's highs: SF 65, Oakland 70, San Jose 79, Livermore 84, Morgan Hill 83, Concord 81 and Santa Cruz 66

NBC Bay Area Morning News Looks like another day in the 80s and 90s inland - but the ocean a/c will be turning stronger later today - good enough to cool the coast and parts of the peninsula. Thursday should be quite a bit cooler for everyone.

NBC Bay Area Morning News Summer sunshine now well underway around the Bay Area. Toasty sunshine today as morning temps are starting off a little warmer which should mean a few more 90s inland today. Livermore, Pleasanton, Concord, Morgan Hill will be among a few spots hitting the 90s today. 70s and 80s are expected around San Francisco east across the Bay to Oakland and Berkeley.

NBC Bay Area Morning News Happy Friday and Weekend to you! The sea breeze will return Friday afternoon and so will the fog. We'll cool back to normal Friday, so still nice, but about 2 to 10 degrees cooler than Thursday when we hit lots of low 90s. The sea breeze will be strong all weekend so we'll cool to the upper 70s - low 80s Inland and 60 at the beaches. Happy Summer (begins at 10:45 local time Saturday night) to you!

NBC Bay Area Morning News Our gadget this Friday: Music from Space! Check it out during Scott's report around 5:45 and 6:45.

NBC Bay Area Morning News Thursday will be the warmest day of the week. We will have a weak off shore breeze which will warm inland spots like Fairfield, Livermore and Morgan Hill will get close to 90 degrees. Bayside communities will sit in the 80s and we'll get close to 70 at the beaches! The warmest day of the week will be follow with a cooler Friday as the sea breeze makes a return to cool us about 5 to 8 degrees from Thursday.

NBC Bay Area Morning News It will finally feel more like June Wednesday and Thursday. We'll begin Wednesday with lots of clouds, some fog and drizzle, but we'll clear early in the morning and the warming will continue. Inland spots will reach the mid to upper 80s Wednesday. Expect lots of mid to upper 70s Bayside and upper 60s to near 70 at the beaches. Have a great day and remember sunscreen, the UV Index is Very High at 10.

NBC Bay Area Morning News The mild and cooler than average weather is coming to an end and the warming will begin. After a cloudy and breezy start to the day, we'll have afternoon clearing with wind coming in from the north to help warm us up. Coastal communities will reach the mid to upper 60s, Bayside communities will reach mid 70s and Inland spots will reach the upper 70s. By Thursday the warm spots inland will be closer to 90 degrees.

NBC Bay Area Morning News Happy Monday! One more storm passing the state will bring a few spotty sprinkles to the Bay Area Monday morning but the main showers will all be south of Morgan Hill this Monday afternoon. We'll be under clouds and 70s for highs. The warming will begin Tuesday, and by Wednesday the warm spots inland will be in the mid 80s!

I'm beginning to wonder if summer is ever going to make a showing? Not liking this crazy funky weather =(

NBC Bay Area Morning News Happy Friday! The cool and mild weather we've had all week will continue through the weekend! A trough of low pressure draped over the western half of the US allows some weak disturbances to pass over the Bay Area and increase the on shore wind. We'll wake up to morning clouds with afternoon clearing and some wind at times. We have a slight chance for a few sprinkles in the Bay Area hills at times, but mostly cloudy.

NBC Bay Area Morning News The mild week continues as we get closer to the weekend. Average highs for this time of year range from mid 60s at the beaches to mid 70s Bayside and Low 80s Inland. We won't see 80s for a few more days! Thursday will be breezy and mild with afternoon sun and clouds. Friday expect a few light sprinkles Friday evening mainly north of the Golden Gate and isolated showers this weekend.

NBC Bay Area Morning News Wednesday morning expect clouds, fog, mist, drizzle and spotty sprinkles at the coast, the North and East Bays and the Peninsula. The afternoon will feature more clouds and sunshine with wind at times and highs ranging from the mid 60s at the beaches to low 70s inland, about 5 to 10 degrees below normal.

NBC Bay Area Morning News Ah yes Friday! One more round of scattered showers today with lightning possible in some spots mainly in the East Bay Hills. This is the final round of scattered showers as the storm that has been sitting off the coast finally starts to move east. Expect a few scattered showers before sunrise Saturday with afternoon clearing and a sunny and mild Sunday!

While we'll get a break from the rain most of Thursday, this evening will be unsettled with more showers, some thunder and more lightning likely. We'll get more rain Friday before it all comes to an end by Saturday afternoon. Have a great day!

NBC Bay Area Morning News Mike's Trx Note: Sig Alert, accidents, disabled vehicles all in succession made for a tough morning for the Bay Bridge. Still very slow and backed up at Toll Plaza. Plan extra time if heading to SF from East Bay, or use BART or San Mateo Bridge...

NBC Bay Area Morning News Happy 4th of July Weekend! We'll get the fog & clouds at night and through the morning hours through Sunday. With afternoon clearing, highs at the beaches will be near 70 degrees. We'll get lots of 70s & low 80s Bayside & upper 80s to near 90 degrees Inland Friday & Saturday.
