NBC Bay Area Morning News The storm is moving on and leaving us with record rainfall totals from San Francisco 2.48" to Mt. Umunhum 13.23"! Wind gusts reached 90mph in some hills and 87mph in Los Gatos. Wednesday we'll get a few scattered showers but not heavy and not long lived. We'll have a lot of fog Thursday morning and remaining dry through Sunday evening when we get more showers, not heavy though.

NBC Bay Area Morning News The bridge detour tie-in is going well, and on schedule BUT... the additional inspection work showed a crack on the cantilever section that would have been bad enough to close the bridge on its own. It MUST be repaired before they can reopen. Still looking for an ETO but the Tuesday, 5am reopening sounds like it may not be in the cards. Stay tuned...
