All respect, NCCP, but could we discontinue the use of the term "low-income children"? It's inaccurate, at best. Children do not have incomes. At worst, it really sounds too much like discount children. They are children from families with low incomes. I realize that's harder to say but we, child advocates, should make the effort. Thanks.

Faith - we do use the construct "...from families with...." for the most part in all our materials - but editorially cannot do that with every single reference - no disrespect to the children whatsoever.
