Dagfinn Greenbrook Racing group led by Joe Patanella running clockwise met RVRR group running counter-clockwise twice today @ Watchung Reservation! Bring on January 9~~~

Ron Redfield Nice run today in Watchung. I've been wanting to take pictures in there, and here are the ones I took today. Most of these are the Sierra Trail. Marked with White box.

Joseph Somers All - I have a question about trail running shoes. I am somewhat new to trail running and am wondering what your opinions might be re: Gore-Tex for running in snow, rain and muddy conditions. I know they keep your feet dry but they are also NOT very breathable and do NOT let water out easily if it gets inside the shoe. What is your experience?

Lloyd W. Taylor Do you guys sponsor any trail runs in South Jersey?

Chris Jaworski In the Jan/Feb 2010 issue of Ultrarunning, the Mountain Madness event gets its full-page treatment -- write-up, results, and two color photographs (of Isabella de le Houssage amd Bill Coyle). Nice!

John Bohnel just became a fan....looking for some group runs in Hunterdon....and will happy to help organize any in the Clinton area. Happy New Year!

NJ Trail Series Several members of the NJ Trail Series are in NCdoing 24 hours at Freedom Park. Let me know if you want anyone's time in particular.

NJ Trail Series The courses are set for the NJ Winter Trail Series. Start Finish will be by the Pavilion at the Sunrise Lake in Lewis Morris Park (Morristown NJ). The courses are about 90% single track with the remaining 10% dirt fire roads. Very runnable and you can expect a fast time. No matter the weather (rain, sleet, snow) the course should hold up well.

Jamie Lucas anyone have any good trail reccomendations for the south jersey area?
