NYU Faces
The reason I first got involved with faces was because of my father. He has had epilepsy for over 35 years and has been a patient of Dr. Devinsky since 1989. My father and his illness have shaped me into the person I am today. From him, I learned the meaning of sacrifice and the importance of helping others.

NYU Faces Marne wrote about faces saying "I attended many faces lectures and not only learned about epilepsy, but, by observing the large number of attendants, learned that I was not alone. Because of faces I was introduced to so many inspiring people, both children and adults, who refused to give in to self-pity and challenge the disorder."
